Day of the Earth

“Today we had the “Day of the Earth”. We divided up into 5 groups and each group got some bags. Our task was collecting all the rubbish lying around the area of the children’s home. The children did really well of course! Every one got a lollipop as a reward and the group who had collected the most was given a whole cake The sun was really blazing today but we didn’t give in. Now everything is squeaky clean, and in order for it to remain so, we have bought some bins for the rooms and tomorrow we will go and buy some of these large containers for outside :-)”
