There are 19 children to adopt. Tuition fee of the remaining 6 children has already been paid by the centre from which they were sent to us (they had to be isolated from the aggressive relatives staying in the vicinity of their former centre).

Mwangi Ndambuki
Boy, born in 2008, in the children’s home since 2017. Currently in grade 2.

Veronicah Kivee Beatrice
Girl, born in 2010, in the children’s home since 2018. Currently in grade 0.

Joseph Kioko Beatrice
Boy, born in 2008, in the children’s home since 2018. Currently in grade 2.

Mbithe Muia
Girl, born in 2008, in the children’s home since 2013. Currently in grade 2.
She was taken from her mentally handicapped mother after her father had died. She comes from a family with many children. Her many siblings live in other children’s homes. The child only survived because she had help from strangers, who gave her food and a roof over her head.
She draws beautifully, is very calm, hard-working and composed.

Kasuva Maingi
Boy, born in 2010, in the children’s home since 2013. Currently in grade 1.
After his father?s death he and his sister Mbithe were abandoned by their mother. Strangers found them and reported the incident to the police.
He loves playing ball and taking care of the goats after school.

Brian Kimana Ndambuki
Boy, born in 2003, in the children’s home since 2010. Currently in grade 7.
He?s from a poor family, that couldn?t afford food for the child. From time to time he visits his family, but right now he?s living constantly in the children’s home.
He?s very good at volleyball and a very calm kid by nature. He plays in the volleyball school team.

In January he started attending secondary school (4 years). The sum needed for sponsoring does not change. We will need a one-time payment of 150? for a whole set of school uniform, shoes, books, mattress (for the boarding school) and so on. If that should be too much, I will help you find a supporter.

Mbithe Maingi
Girl, born in 2008, in the children’s home since 2013. Currently in grade 3.

Musyawa Musyoka
Girl, born in 1999, in the children’s home since 2010. Currently in grade 8.
After her father?s death she stayed with her mother, who is an uneducated woman. They lived on waste land that was often drought-stricken. Because the mother saw no way of caring for the child, she gave it to the children?s home.
The girl is helping a lot with all household chores, is a quick learner in school and takes care of the younger children.

Caroline Mwelu Kavindu
Girl, born in 2005, in the children’s home since 2014. Currently in grade 4.
She was horribly beaten up by her uncle. Her mother was paralysed back then and died shortly after the incident. She doesn?t have a father. The girl and her brother (Martin) had no one to take care of them and were finally saved by neighbours.
She?s very bright, loves studying at school and helps the younger kids. She wants to be a teacher.

Hussein Mbolu Muyanga
Boy, born in 2010, in the children’s home since 2015. Currently in grade 1.
The mother abandoned her family and left the boy with his father, a thief. A short time after that, the father was arrested and the boy was taken to the children?s home.
In school he loves science and playing in the yard.

Minoo Nzilani
Girl, born in 2009, in the children’s home since 2014. Currently in grade 2.
Her mother abandoned her family. The father abused the child and raped her several times, while her little brother was locked away in a room for many days. The father ran away, leaving the kids alone. Minou was probably also raped by neighbours later on, because the kids were alone in their home. Because of all the raping Minou now suffers from rectal incontinence.

Wambua Nzilani
Boy, born in 2011, in the children’s home since 2014. Currently in grade 0.
Brother of Minou Nzilani. He is slightly mentally handicapped. Coming from a family with many diseases. Their mother abandoned them, the father sexually abused his older sister, the boy was locked in a dark room for many hours.
He is a very happy child and smiles all the time. He loves making new friends and has a great memory.

Abandoned by her mother. She stayed with her father who raped the girl. Now the father is in prison. The girl and her brother were brought to this centre.

He is a complete orphan (both his parents are dead), so he and his brother had nothing to live on.
He?s very good at volleyball. In our centre he often helps out in the kitchen and takes care of other kids. He plays in the volleyball school team.

Mumbua Waita
Girl, born in 2003, in the children’s home since 2015. Currently in grade 7.
The girl?s mother died and left her and her sister under the care of their father who is an alcohol addict. The father married anew, but abused the kids physically and mentally. Mumbua ran away from home. Finally she came to the centre.
She takes care of the other children and protects them at school. She loves scientific classes.

Complete orphan. He was left with his grandmother, but she couldn?t care for him. That?s how he came to the centre.

Mercy Mayao
Girl, born in 2003, in the children’s home since 2015. Currently in grade 5.
The girl?s mother died. After her death the father began sexually abusing the child. After some time her younger brother reported that to the police. The father was arrested and put into prison. The girl was taken to the children’s home and her brother stayed with relatives.
She loves cooking.
