This is an initiative for the 34 children from the secondary school, who mostly spend the break between semesters in our children’s home. The others go and visit their relatives. Each semester (3 semesters per year) the kids need to take with them: washing powder (440 KES), tooth paste (110 KES), shoe polish (60 KES), soap (80 KES) and sanitary products for the girls (520 KES). We have 20 girls and 14 boys.
All in all that equals 950 KES, i.e. 9 to 10 €.
